It goes without saying that the best way to end a special meal is to enjoy a good dessert and the one we propose today is one of those that always leave a delicious impression on the palate. This Oreo cheesecake is very simple to prepare, it doesn’t even need an oven but it will delight the sweet tooth.
Ingredients
Double cream Oreo cookies, 2 packages Cream cheese, 300 g Butter, 60 g Neutral gelatin, 5 sheets Milk, 60 ml Whipping cream, 200 ml Sugar, 60 g Oreo cookies, 4 cookies Mini Oreo cookies to decorate
.h3 class=”content__summary-title”>Step 1
Hydrate the gelatin sheets in cold water.
Step 2
Open the heavy cream Oreo cookies and separate the cookies from the cream by scraping well with a teaspoon. We reserve the cream and crush the cookies with the butter until we obtain a kind of sand with which we will cover the bottom of a circular removable mold of 24 centimeters in diameter compacting it well by pressing with the bottom of a glass or with the back of a spoon. This will be the base of our cake and we will leave it in the fridge while we do the rest of the steps.
Step 3
In a bowl we beat the cream cheese with the sugar and the cream that we have removed from the inside of the cookies.
Step 4
Warm the milk and dissolve the well-drained gelatin in it and add it little by little to the previous mixture until you have a homogeneous cream.
Step 5
Whip the cream with the help of an electric whisk and incorporate it with wrapping movements and add 4 crushed Oreo cookies.
Step 6
Pour the mixture over the cookie base that we had chilled in the refrigerator and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours before serving to set the cake.
Step 7
When serving our Oreo cheesecake, decorate it with the mini Oreo cookies and carefully unmold.
Notes
Another option to decorate at the time of serving if you don’t have the mini Oreo cookies is to sprinkle the cake with a few grated Oreo cookies as a topping.
