Orange bulgur
Last Updated on
ingredients
250 g bulgur 600 ml water 1 butter 1 stalk thyme to taste salt, ground black pepper 2 pcs orange 1 tbsp parsley
procedure
1. Prepare the bulgur according to the instructions on the package. It is usually washed first, covered with water in a saucepan, seasoned with salt and pepper, a knob of butter and a sprig of thyme. Bring to the boil and cook for about 15 minutes. Then remove the thyme and let the bulgur finish cooking. 2. While the bulgur is cooking, prepare the oranges. On a cutting board, cut the peel off. Take it in one hand and a smaller but sharp knife in the other hand. Guide the cuts along the individual peel pieces to make clean marigolds, which we cut into smaller pieces. 3. Mix the cooked bulgur with the orange, parsley and season with salt and pepper if necessary.
