Crackers are a great accompaniment to various meats, but they are also very tasty with beer or wine as a savoury snack.
Ingredients:
500 g
smooth flour
250 g
butter
50 g
butter
bacon
1 bag
baking powder
250 ml
sour cream
1-2 pcs
onions (one large or two smaller ones)
1 pk
eggs for spreading
cumin
pepper
salt
Procedure:
Slice peeled onion into thin slices, bacon into cubes.
Fry the bacon in a frying pan, add the onion after a while, let it turn golden brown, stirring occasionally.
In a bowl mix the flour with baking powder, then with the butter and sour cream, throw in the bacon from the onions from the pan including the fat, add salt, pepper and a little crushed cumin, mix everything thoroughly, work out the dough, which leave at room temperature for a while to rest.
Roll out the dough into a sheet about 2 cm thick, cut it out with a larger cookie cutter, or for example a mug or glass individual crisps, put them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
Brush the crackers with beaten egg, sprinkle with cumin, pepper and salt, bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C until golden brown, about 15-20 minutes.
