ingredients
1,5 kg sauerkraut 2 pcs onion 6 pcs whole black pepper 2 pcs bay leaf 70 g mushrooms dried 3 tbsp ground red pepper 3 pcs spicy sausage a little oil a little salt 3 slices of bacon 1,5 liters of chicken broth 2 pcs potatoes
step
1. Fry the finely chopped onion in hot oil. Add finely chopped bacon, sliced sausage, mushrooms and fry quickly. 2. Add the sauerkraut. In order not to make it too sour, wash it or cut it into smaller pieces. Toss the cabbage with the mixture and pour in the hot broth.Taste and top up with the sauerkraut water (jucha). Add pepper and bay leaf. 3. Let the cabbage cook slowly so that the cabbage does not boil. After 20 to 30 minutes, taste and season with salt. Cook the potatoes separately, they would not soften well because of the sour cabbage. Add to the finished cabbage.
