Old Bohemian Plum Dumplings

Láďa Hruška demonstrated our grandmothers’ recipe on TV Nova this time and prepared quick and tasty plum dumplings from unleavened dough.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. 1. Make a long “snake” out of the dough, flatten the dough with your hands and lay individual plums on it, cut the dough between the plums with a knife
3. Roll the plums in the dough and roll them in flour
4. Put the shaped dumplings in boiling water and wait until they float to the surface, i.e. in about 7 minutes they are ready
5. Remove the dumplings with a sieve, drain and place in a bowl
6. Serve the plum dumplings generously sprinkled with sugar mixed with ground poppy seeds and topped with melted butter.
