Old Bohemian Pálenec

Pickled peas roasted in lard, brushed with lard and seasoned with grated garlic, pepper and salt.

Ingredients:

250 g of peas 1 pc garlic lard to saute fat for browning water pepper salt

Procedure:

1. Pick, wash and soak the peas in water for 24 hours, let the peas swell at room temperature
2. Then drain the peas, spread them out on a baking sheet and let them germinate for three days, rinsing at least three times each day with cold water
3. When the peas have sprouted, heat the lard in a frying pan and fry the peas briefly
4. Season with grated garlic, salt and a little pepper and brush with lard, then serve.
