Nutty potica

Orehova potica is the exact name for the traditional Slovenian baked dessert with nut filling and raisins.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Pour four tablespoons of milk into a bowl, add the crumbled yeast, a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of flour, wait until the dough rises to double its size, which will take about ten minutes
2. Whisk the butter, add the egg yolks, grated lemon zest and the rest of the sugar, knead slowly in a bowl to make a soft, stretchy yeast dough
3. Let the dough rise again to twice its original size, add more flour if it is too thin, then let the dough rise once more
4. Divide the resulting dough into three parts and roll it out into rectangles, 1 cm thick, the size of baking trays
5. Prepare the filling by whisking together the butter, eggs, sugar, cinnamon, grated lemon zest, cream and ground nuts
6. Bake in a preheated oven at 170-180 °C for about 60 minutes
9. Cut the cooled potica into individual slices and sprinkle with vanilla sugar.
