Tip for a New Year’s Eve treat, hard-boiled eggs marinated together with Vegetable Recipes in a sweet and sour brine. You can prepare both a spicy version and a non-spicy version.
Ingredients:
10-15 pcs
of hard-boiled eggs
1-2 pcs
onions
1-2 pcs
chillies or unsharpened goat horns
1 drumstick
of garlic
1 bushel
of cherry tomatoes
suitable jar with lid
For pickling:
0.5 l

120 ml
water
100 g
sugar
5-8 pcs
of black peppercorns
5 pcs
cloves
5 pcs
of allspice
1 pcs
onion
1 pk
cinnamon stick
1 pcs
chilli or hot pepper (hot option)
1 heaped teaspoon
salt
Procedure:
Hard boil the eggs, then cool them down, then peel them.
Prepare the brine, bring the water with vinegar and spices to a boil, add the onion cut into eighths, boil for 10 minutes. Let the brine cool down.
Place the eggs in a suitable jar, intersperse them with pieces of Vegetable Recipes and garlic cloves.
Pour the jar with the lukewarm brine and spices, close it tightly, let it sit for at least 2-3 days, then serve.
Recommendation:
If you want a hot variant, use hot peppers, if you prefer a non-hot variant, then replace hot peppers or chillies with some non-hot variant of peppers, for example non-hot goat horns. If you want a really spicy variant, you can add a teaspoon of chilli spice to the brine when cooking.
