Nettle pancakes stuffed with ham and cheese

Great breakfast or dinner, or even a tasty hot appetizer. Pancakes seasoned with steamed and then chopped nettle leaves, served spread with butter mixed with melted cheese, garnished with grated hard cheese and slices of ham.

Ingredients:

Range for 5-6 pieces: 4 pcs of egg 0.5 l milk 1 handful of young nettles smooth flour frying oil salt For filling: 1 cup of spreadable butter 200 g chicken ham slices 150 g hard cheese 2 pcs three melted cheese quarters

Procedure:

  • Rinse the nettles in boiling water, chop finely when drained
  • .In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and milk, gradually add the flour, it should form a thinner batter of the consistency of classic pancakes
  • Into the batter stir finely chopped nettles
  • .Fry thicker pancakes in fat on the griddle, there should be 5 to 6 pieces, keep warm when finished
  • Spread individual pancakes with more spreadable butter mixed with melted cheese, spread slices of chicken ham and sprinkle with grated hard cheese, roll up
  • Serve warm immediately, later served can be microwaved.
  • Recommendation:

    Instead of nettles, spinach leaves can be used.
