Mushroom Strudel

Tasty savoury strudel prepared from puff pastry, sautéed mushrooms and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

400 g of puff pastry 400 g hub 2 pcs egg 1 pc medium onion butter or lard for frying salt

Procedure:

  • Fry the diced onion in butter or lard
  • Add the cleaned, sliced mushrooms, stir them in and saute until soft
  • Stir in the/li>
  • Salt the mushrooms and pour in the beaten eggs, stir and remove from the heat, let the fry cool completely
  • Roll out the dough into 2 sheets, cover with the mushroom mixture and wrap in the shape of a strudel
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C for about 40 minutes
  • Slice the slightly cooled legs of the mushroom strudel and serve warm or completely cold.
  • Recommendation:

    The surface of the strudel can be brushed with beaten egg before baking, it will then be nicely golden. The mushroom mixture can be enriched with paprika or other Vegetable Recipes.
