Mushroom spread

125 g mushrooms of your choice 1 pk onion 2 cloves garlic cumin crushed turmeric (ground) pepper black ground chili pepper salt 2 pk eggs 100 g processed cheese fresh parsley

Quick and easy mushroom spread.

Clean the mushrooms thoroughly and cut into strips. Peel and finely slice the onion and thinly slice the garlic.

Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onions. Add the garlic and mushrooms and sauté everything together until the mushrooms release their water. Then add salt, pepper, cumin seeds, a pinch of turmeric and simmer until most of the liquid is cooked out of the mushrooms.

Add 2 eggs to the mushroom mixture. Stir until thickened, add more salt if needed. Finally, stir in the processed cheese and allow to cool.

Place the spread in a bowl and garnish with parsley. Serve on fresh bread or toast. Enjoy!
