This is a family recipe that I got from my wonderful grandmother. It’s baked by the whole family: grandma, mom, aunts, me, my sister and I hope my kids will bake it too and it will be passed on to the next generation. Every time I bake it we enjoy it very much. I baked it with my grandmother over the holidays when I was 6 years old. When I was 10 I baked it myself. Before baking, I always went with my grandfather to pick wild strawberries, because this cake is divine with them. And then we just made the dough, arranged the strawberries, baked it, and snacked on it. It was a beautiful and unforgettable time, I am extremely grateful for it and will never forget it! When we come to my grandmother’s house anytime she bakes us this amazing bublanina and we have a snack together. It’s easy, quick and fantastic.

1.

Beat the eggs with the sugar until frothy. Add milk, oil, vanilla, sifted flour with baking powder and stir.

2.

Pour the batter onto a floured baking sheet, arrange the fruit.

3.

Bake at 180°C for about 20 minutes.

4.

We like it with wild strawberries or currants but we can use different fruits depending on the season or we can use a combination, who likes it.

5.

Good taste!
