The sandwiches are a nice way to open the party. The salty whitefish flavour combined with sweet onion and sour cream is a very good combination.
Ingredients for four
4 pieces of wheat toast & 100g whitefish (if the price is too high, add the following ingredients1 red onion 1 pinch of sour cream 1 handful of dill
Tip: The sandwiches can be made with my island stew.
If you want really fine bread, cut off the edges. You can even use a die-cutter to pull them into a pile.
Peel and chop the onion into microscopic shreds.
Place the toast on a plate and spread sour cream on it. Use two spoons to make a “quenelle” of the whitefish and place on the sour cream.
Sprinkle the onion slice on the pan and sprinkle a few sprigs of dill for decoration. Serve the sandwiches immediately, so they don’t get too soft.
