To make this dish, you’ll need:
1 pound of ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 tablespoon olive oil
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon ground ginger

Salt and pepper to taste
To make the dish, first heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the onions and sauté until they’re softened, about 5 minutes. Then add the garlic and ground beef, cooking until the beef is browned.
Next, add in all of the spices and give everything a good stir. Then add the chickpeas and chicken broth. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let cook for about 15 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened.
Just before serving, stir in the cilantro leaves. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve over cooked rice or couscous
