Miso-tahini Dressing with Maple Syrup

Salad dressing according to Japanese recipe prepared from miso paste, tahini sesame paste, rice vinegar and maple syrup.

Ingredients:

4 tablespoons sesame tahini paste 2 tablespoons maple syrup 1 tbsp rice vinegar 1-2 tsp bowl warm water

Procedure:

1. Place all ingredients in a bowl and whisk with a fork until smooth
2. Add enough lukewarm water to achieve the consistency you need
3. Let the dressing sit in the fridge for a while, then pour it over fresh vegetable salads.

Note:

Miso – Soybean Paste. It is a thick brown oily paste that is made from soybeans, rice and salt through a fermentation process. Tahini – This sauce is used in the Middle East in salads, hummus and baba ganush dishes, and sweet pastries. It is made from ground sesame seeds, is smooth and has a high calcium content.
