Combine
6 servings 2 tbsp olive oil 1 small onion 2 cloves of garlic 1 can of marinated peeled tomatoes 4 sprigs of thyme n 1 packet of chilled pizza dough 2 pcs. 6 slices of boneless ham 12 slices of basil leaves 1 egg for frying
Procedure for the recipe
1 Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the finely chopped onion. After 4 minutes, add the garlic cloves and fry for about a minute. Add the contents of the can with the tomatoes and thyme leaves, season with salt and pepper and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and allow the sauce to cool.
TIP: How to peel garlic easily
2 Divide the dough rectangle into 6 squares. Spread a spoonful of tomato sauce on each one, leaving a free edge of about 1,5 cm. Divide the two mozzarella sticks into 6 pieces. Wrap each piece with a piece of ham and place on the prepared dough, leaving half of the dough free. Add 2 basil leaves and fold the free half of the dough over the cheese and ham. Press the edges well together.
