Meat and potato salad

The mashed potatoes are an effortless way to make a meat-and-potatoes dish from the leftover mashed potatoes from the previous recipe. A delicious everyday meal with a good salad and bread.

Ingredients for 6 people

400g roast beef 1 onion 1 tbsp; 1 tbsp soy 1 tsp pepper 1 tsp salt 1 kg mashed potatoes 2 eggs 1 tbsp butter

Preheat the oven to 180C.

Peel and finely chop the onion. Sauté in a pan until golden brown. Add the mince to the pan and take a quick stir, no need to cook. Season with tomato puree, soy, pepper and salt.

Mix mashed potatoes and eggs.

Combine the mashed potatoes and meat in a pan with a few ladles. There shouldn’t be a very smooth mixture.

Lub the baking dish with butter. Pour the meat and potato mixture into it and smooth it out.

Bake the meat and potato dish at 180C for about 40 minutes. Allow to rest for a few minutes before serving.
