Mashed potatoes with sausages in puff pastry

Fried sausages wrapped in puff pastry, baked until golden brown and served with mashed potatoes mixed with fried rocket.

Ingredients:

600 g potatoes 120 g of puff pastry 80 g of arugula leaves 40 g butter 1.2 dl milk 4 pcs legs of Ostrava sausage 1 pcs egg water salt

Procedure:

1. Peel the potatoes, cut them into eighths and boil them in boiling salted water until tender
2. Cut one sausage into small cubes, cut the others in half, wrap in strips of puff pastry and brush with beaten egg, place on a baking sheet, sprinkle with chopped sausage cubes, place in a preheated oven at 180 °C and bake until golden brown (about 12 minutes)
3. In the meantime, rinse the rocket, drain, fry briefly in melted butter, season with salt and mix with boiling milk
4. Drain the boiled potatoes, mash them and gradually whisk in the milk and rocket

Recommendation:

Instead of arugula you can use chives, parsley or young spinach.
