Macaroni and cheese recipe

When it comes to serving up a comforting bowl of mac and cheese, there are endless ways to do it. But, there’s something about this particular recipe that makes it our favorite. It’s creamy, cheesy and oh-so-delicious. Plus, it’s super easy to make. Simply follow the instructions below and you’ll have a mouthwatering dish in no time.
Ingredients:
1 pound elbow macaroni
1/4 cup butter
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
2 cups milk
12 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 cup bread crumbs
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add macaroni and cook for about 8 minutes or until al dente; drain.
In a saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually add milk to flour mixture, stirring constantly until sauce has thickened.
Remove from heat and mix in cheddar cheese until melted.
Combine cooked macaroni with cheese sauce. Pour into prepared dish. Sprinkle with bread crumbs.
Bake for 25 minutes, or until bubbly.
