Here is the recipe for Light Strawberry Crumble, a delicious crumble on top of a tangy, melt-in-your-mouth strawberry compote, easy and simple for a summer dessert or snack.
Ingredients for 8 people:
600 g strawberries 180 g flour 150 g 0% cottage cheese 20 g low-fat butter 3 tablespoons sweetener 1 teaspoon vanilla extract juice of 1 lemon
Preparation:
Heat the oven to 180°C.
Wash the strawberries then cut them into pieces.
Put in a bowl then add 1 tablespoon of sweetener and the lemon juice, mix and keep aside.
In a bowl put the cottage cheese, soft butter, remaining sweetener, vanilla extract and flour then mix until you have a sandy batter.
Place the strawberries in an ovenproof dish then top with the crumble batter.
Bake for about 35 to 40 minutes.
