Lentil soup with smoked
ingredients
100 g English bacon 1.3 litres beef broth 200 g lentils 1 pk onion 2 cloves garlic 1 tbsp lard to taste salt to taste pepper
procedure
1. Rinse and soak the lentils in cold water for a few hours or overnight, then add a tablespoon of salt and cook until tender. Fry the bacon cut into small cubes in lard, add the finely chopped onion, which we fry and finally add the thinly sliced garlic and 2/3 of the cooked lentils, which we pour 2/3 of the broth and cook for 5 minutes over medium heat. 2. Blend the remaining 1/3 of the lentils and 1/3 of the broth, add to the soup and simmer for 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.
