Lent cabbage soup

ingredients

1/2 kg cleaned raw potatoes 300 g sauerkraut 2 tbsp semi-coarse flour 100 g butter 3 tsp sweet red ground paprika 3 pcs garlic cloves ground black pepper salt

This soup is one of those grandmother’s recipes. Simple but filling and very good.

Clean the potatoes,cut them into small cubes and put them to boil in a pot of salted water.To the almost cooked potatoes add the sauerkraut,chopped into small pieces.Simmer for a while.

Then add a roux of butter, flour and sweet paprika.Season the soup with crushed garlic, season with pepper, let it boil through and set aside.
