Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 onion, diced
1 green pepper, diced
2 tablespoons olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon cumin
1 teaspoon paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
1 (14.5 ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
1/2 cup water
Instructions:
In a large pot or Dutch oven, heat the olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the onion and green pepper and saute until softened, about 5 minutes.
Add the garlic and saute for an additional minute. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain any excess fat.
Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt and pepper. Add the diced tomatoes, tomato sauce and water. Bring to a simmer and cook for 10 minutes.
Serve over rice or beans
