With the Born in the EU project and in cooperation with chef Petr Cvan, we will taste traditional dishes from different parts of Europe. This time we will look at sunny Italy. Lasagne with chicken and wild broccoli is called Lasagne al pollo e cime di rappe. Cook your lasagne according to this recipe, you’ll love it.
Ingredients:
Rule for 4 servings:
about 11 pieces
of lasagna slices
1 kg
wild broccoli (can use regular broccoli or spinach as well)
0.6 kg
chicken breast
50 g
butter
3-4 pcs
garlic cloves (more if less aromatic)
1 pk
large onion
/tr>
1 heaping tablespoon
smooth flour
1 tablespoon
olive oil
3/4 l
milk
0.5 dcl
of white wine
1 packet
of mozzarella
pepper
salt
Procedure:
First, cut up your chicken
.Chop the onion into small cubes and put it in hot oil to saute, fry the onion until golden brown, dust with flour and stir slowly, pour the fried flour with milk, add some white wine and season with salt, pepper and nutmeg, remove the pot from the heat

Heat the oil in a pan, throw in a few sprigs of fresh herbs and add the lightly salted and peppered chicken, fry until golden brown
In the meantime, rinse the wild broccoli in water, which is not so traditional for us, but I would compare it to spinach with a hint of broccoli in taste. Look at the leaves, you can tell freshness by their vitality.
Place the first layer of béchamel on the bottom of the baking dish, place the first layer of fresh lasagna on top, spread the chicken, top again with béchamel and continue with the wild broccoli, repeat this process 3 times
The last top layer is covered with buffalo mozzarella, another typical ingredient of the cuisine of this country
Place the lasagne in a preheated oven at 165 °C and bake for 30 min, after this time the lasagne is browned from above.
