Large funnel cake from the oven

Leavan dough
70 g plain flour 1 pinch salt 1 packet vanilla sugar´ 250 ml milk 2 pcs egg

40 g butter 1 pk lemon (juice) 1 KL caster sugar

The so-called Dutch funnel cake will save you time with baking small funnel cakes.

Heat the oven to 200°C.

In a bowl, mix together the dry ingredients: flour, salt and vanilla sugar.

Then add the milk, mix a smooth dough and add the whole eggs and mix again.

Place the butter in a frying pan (suitable for the oven) or a springform pan and heat in the oven.

When the butter starts to bubble in the pan, take it out of the oven, do not pour the batter into it, close the door and let it bake for 16 to 18 minutes (200°C).
6.
Sprinkle the hot meringue with icing sugar, sprinkle with lemon, cut into triangles and serve immediately.
7.
It also tastes very good with jam or fresh fruit.
