Lamb Irish Stew

One of Ireland’s most popular dishes, Irish-style stew. It is made from both lamb and beef. In Ireland, it is baked in a stoneware pot.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Remove the fat from the cleaned, de-blanched leg meat and cut into small cubes
2. Butter a baking dish and place the meat on the bottom, add salt, cover with peeled and finely diced potatoes, add salt and pepper, add peeled and sliced onion
3. The last layer is again potatoes, top with sliced bacon
5. Pour hot water, cover and bake in an oven heated to 190-200 °C for about 2 hours.
Recommendation:
Decorate individual portions on plates with finely chopped chives.
