Krkonošský toč

Potato pancake baked in the oven, served twisted into the shape of a roll.

Ingredients:

1.5 kg of raw potatoes 80 g lard 3/4 l milk 4 pcs cloves of garlic 12 tbsp of crackling 9 tablespoons breadcrumbs ground black pepper majorana salt smooth flour

Procedure:

1. Scrape the raw potatoes, rinse in cold water and mash
2. Put in a sieve and drain in a bowl, then drain the water and keep the remaining starch
3. Grease a baking dish with lard, then pour the potato dough into it, and smooth the mixture
5. Bake in a preheated, very hot oven for about 20 minutes

Serve, for example, smoked meat and sauerkraut or lettuce with this potato pancake.
