Kapustnice z Podolince

Sour cabbage soup with mushrooms, plums and sausage.

Ingredients:

200 g of white sauerkraut 150 g clobasa 50 g butter

2 handfuls of dried mushrooms 5 dl cabbage brine 1 l of meat broth 10 pcs of pitted prunes ground sweet paprika cumin salt smooth flour and butter to make the roux

Procedure:

1. Soak the dried mushrooms in cold water to swell, chop them and saute them in butter
2. Add prunes, cabbage, beaten cumin, sweet paprika, cabbage brine, meat broth and cook everything
3. When cabbage is soft, thicken soup with butter roux
4. Finally, stir in the sliced sausage and let it warm up in the soup.
