Fluid foundation
5 pcs egg 1 cup cane sugar 1/2 cup muscovado sugar dark 1/2 cup molasses 150 g melted butter 1 KL vanilla extract
Dry ingredients
2 cups plain flour special 1 KL baking soda 1 KL cinnamon ground 1 KL turmeric 1/2 KL nutmeg 1 pinch star anise 1 pinch salt
Ingredients for slicing
4 pcs apple peeled 100 g chocolate 1/2 cup walnuts – can also be cashews or hazelnuts

EASY. Add the flour, soda and spices and finally incorporate the apples, chocolate and nuts.

Place in a greased and floured babovek tin and bake at 170 degrees for about 50 minutes.

It tastes best still warm with vanilla ice cream and strawberries. This babka will stay moist inside for the next days, but that won’t happen – it will still be cool the day you bake it 😉
