Jihlava Sour Cream

From our grandmothers’ recipes, a white soup made of potatoes, buttermilk, cream and plain flour, seasoned with cumin, vinegar and salt.

Ingredients:

1/2 kg of potatoes 1 l buttermilk 1 scoop of cream 1 tsp smooth flour vinegar to taste cumin salt

Procedure:

1. Peel the potatoes, cut into small pieces, cover with water, season with salt and pepper and let it cook until tender
2. Mix the buttermilk with one ladleful of cream, into which you have previously stirred one teaspoon of flour
3. Pour the buttermilk and cream into the water with the boiled potatoes, let it simmer
