Jello poke cake recipe
Last Updated on
Have you ever had a Jello poke cake? If you haven’t, you’re missing out! A Jello poke cake is a cake that is full of holes, into which Jello is poured. The result is a cake that is both moist and full of flavor.
Here’s a recipe for a basic Jello poke cake:
1 box of white cake mix
1 3-ounce package of Jello (any flavor)
1 cup of boiling water
1 cup of cold water
Instructions:
Bake the cake according to the instructions on the box.
While the cake is baking, mix together the Jello and boiling water.
When the cake is done, use a fork to poke holes all over the top.
Pour the Jello mixture over the cake, and then refrigerate for at least two hours.
This cake is perfect for any occasion – birthdays, potlucks, picnics, or just because! And, because there are so many flavors of Jello available, you can make a different poke cake every time. For example, try using lemon Jello and serve the cake with a dollop of whipped cream on top. Or, use chocolate Jello and top the cake with chocolate frosting
