Italian Tomato Soup

Recipe from Italy for a tasty sweet and sour soup made with tomatoes and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

1 l of water 2-4 tbsp tomato puree 150 g cooked noodles or other pasta 5 pcs of whole peppercorns 3 pcs of allspice balls 1 pc of bay leaves 1 pc cinnamon 1 pk small onion vinegar sugar salt Salt: 2 tbsp smooth flour 2 tbspbutter fresh basil for garnish

Procedure:

1. Put tomato paste, onion cut in half and spices in water to boil
2. Cook for about 25 minutes
3. Prepare the roux by frying the plain flour in the melted butter, stirring constantly
4. Thicken the soup with the roux, boil, season with salt, sugar, or vinegar
5. Strain and add the cooked noodles, garnish with basil.
