Italian Focaccia Bread
Classic Italian bread made from sourdough pancakes baked in the oven until golden brown.
Ingredients:
Procedure:
1. Mix lukewarm water and crumbled yeast in a bowl
2. Gradually add the flour until a smooth dough is formed, knead it thoroughly and then, covered with a clean cloth, put it in a warm place to rise
2. Make two loaves from the risen dough (it should double its volume) and then use your hands to form two thicker pancakes
3. Pour olive oil over the resulting pancakes, sprinkle with sea salt, spread with your hands and knead to combine the oil with the salt and the dough
4. Place the breads on a baking tray with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven at 230-250 °C for about 10-12 minutes
