Italian Beef Goulash

Beef stew served with pasta.

Ingredients:

400 g of lean beef 100 g tomato puree 80 g grated cheese 2 tbsp ketchup 2 tbsp oil 1 tsp smooth flour 1 piece of onion worcestershire sauce ground pepper salt

Procedure:

1. Peel the onion, finely chop and fry in oil
2. Add the meat to the onion and fry, stirring constantly, until the onion is browned and the meat is well browned
3. In the meantime, cook the pasta according to the instructions on the package 5. Let the semi-soft meat fry in the fat, dust with flour, fry, sprinkle with ground paprika and fry again
6. Sprinkle the goulash with grated cheese on the plate.

Recommendation:

The red peppers should come right on top of the freshly sautéed onions and immediately cover them with water. However, after a little while, the peppers risk becoming bitter, so it is okay for a novice cook to add the peppers afterwards to the water.
