During our trips to Ireland we always like to enjoy a meal of “Beef and Guinness”. Slow-cooked beef is one of their traditional dishes that you’ll immediately fall in love with.
1.
Cut the beef into larger cubes. Dust it with flour and coat it in flour. Put it in a thick-walled pot and fry it in oil. Then pull it out on a tnaier.
2.
In the same pot, add more oil and add the bacon cut into small pieces. Fry it for a while and now stir in the carrots and celery. Sauté everything together so that the Vegetable Recipes soften a bit.
3.
Now you can add the onion and garlic. Stir everything again and sauté.
4.
Return the meat to the pot, salt and pepper it. Add the puree and mix all the ingredients well.
5.
Pour the broth and Guinness over the cooked mixture. Use only this black Irish beer. Ours has a sweeter taste that would not be suitable for this dish. Add the parsley. Bring to the boil and put the pot on the lowest burner and the lowest flame so that the food bubbles just a little and cooks slowly.
6.
After about two hours, when the meat is falling apart, you can set the food aside. Use the remaining ingredients to make a thick sauce to pour over the finished dish. Serve the beef stew with boiled boiled potatoes.
