Hummus

Arabic dish of chickpeas and other ingredients. It is served as a side dish with meat or as a separate course.

Ingredients:

400 g of canned chickpeas 1-2 pcs 2 tbsp sesame tahini paste 2 tbspolive oil juice of half a lemon fresh parsley for garnish olive oil for drizzling

Procedure:

1. Rinse the chickpeas and let them drain
2. Mix them with olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic and tahini paste
3. Blend everything, if the mixture is too stiff you can add a few drops of water
4. Serve the hummus drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with chopped parsley.

Recommendation:

Hummus will keep for up to 5 days in the fridge.
