Hummus prepared in this way is suitable as a dip for grilling or for various baguettes and appetizers. The recipe uses ready-made Hummus Crispins.
Ingredients:
1 packet
of Hummus Crispins (200 g)
600 ml
of cold water
60 g
sesame paste
chopped olives, or anchovies, or capers
fresh tomatoes and arugula for garnish
dried tomatoes in oil
shavings of parmesan
herbed pesto

Procedure:
Add 600ml of cold water to the Hummus Crispins mixture and blend the ingredients with a stick blender.
Add the sesame paste “tahini” and blend again.
Into the resulting hummus, stir chopped olives and sun-dried tomatoes, or you can try capers or anchovies. These ingredients, together with good quality olive oil, can be combined with chickpeas to create a wonderful composition that is suitable as a dip for grilling or for various baguettes and appetizers.
Recommendation:
A simple herb pesto prepared by mixing herbs with a little garlic and salt in olive oil is an excellent complement. If you top the hummus with grated parmesan or other hard cheese you will boost its nutritional value almost to perfection.
