Hummus II.

Hummus is an Arabic delicacy made from chickpeas and other ingredients.

Ingredients:

250 g of sterilized chickpeas 3 tbsp 2 tbsp lemon juice 1 handful walnuts 3 pcs of garlic cloves 1 pc bunch of smooth leaf parsley salt

Procedure:

1. Rinse the chickpeas and drain
2. Toast the nuts in a dry frying pan and when they start to smell, transfer them to a cloth and rub them to remove the brown skin and blend them into a smooth paste
3. Add the chickpeas, blend again and finally add the lemon juice, 2 tablespoons of olive oil and mix everything together
4. Finally, season the mixture with salt and finely chopped parsley
5. Before serving, pour a little oil on each portion and serve with pita bread or crackers.

Recommendation:

Can also be served as a side dish with meats.
