Hot Dogs with Tomato Salsa

Turnip stuffed with tomato salsa, toasted sausage, lettuce leaf and sour cream.

Ingredients:

4 pcs of quality barbecue sausages 4 pieces of rolls or small baguettes salad leaves sour cream For salsa: 2 tbsp olive oil 2 tbsp chopped fresh basil 1 tbsp red wine vinegar 4 pcs tomatoes 1 pcs red chillies pinch of natural sugar

Procedure:

1. Grill the sausages for 10 –
15 minutes until cooked through, turning occasionally
2. In the meantime, roast the halved tomatoes for the salsa by placing them on the grill cut side up until their skins start to brown, this takes about 3 minutes, then transfer the tomatoes to a bowl, mash them with a fork and mix them with olive oil, wine vinegar, cleaned finely chopped chilli, finely chopped basil and a pinch of sugar
3. Spread the prepared salsa on sliced rolls or baguettes, add the salad, toasted sausage, drizzle with sour cream and serve.
