Honey sesame chicken

The sweetness of honey combined with the toastiness of sesame are the key to Chinese delicacies. My recipe teaches you how to enlarge the size of Chinese sauces.
Ingredients for four
300g chicken fillet 1 onion 3 carrots 1 tbsp; 3 tablespoons sesame seeds
Sauce

2 tbsp honey 2 tbsp dark soy 1 dl boiling water 1 tsp sesame seeds 3 tsp potato or rice flour
Soak the sesame seeds in a wok for a couple of minutes until the flavours start to release. Set aside.
Peel and cut the onion into boats. Peel myös carrot and ginger and chop into julienne sticks.
Stir together honey, soy and sesame in a cup. Pour in boiling water and potato flour. Stir well.
Heat the stir-fryer and add the sesame seeds. Carefully drop the chicken strips into the pan to stir. Almost immediately throw in the carrots. Stir the wok vigorously all the time. Then add the ginger and onion – the wok will keep on stirring.
Finally, spoon the sauce into the wok, wait for it to boil and then ladle into a serving bowl with honey and sesame seeds.
At last, pour the sauce into the wok.
