Recipe from a vegan cookbook.It is a vegetable steamed, blended, mixed with oat flour, the resulting “sausages” then grilled or fried in a pan.
Ingredients:
500 g
of Vegetable Recipes – potatoes, two carrots, ½ head of beetroot, small cauliflower florets, 3 shallots
1 and 1/2 teaspoon
sweet red pepper
1 teaspoon
cinnamon
1 and 1/2 cups
oat flour
spices
salt
Procedure:
Cook the Vegetable Recipes over steam until tender (beets need to be cooked a little longer or cut into smaller pieces to cook/stew with the other Vegetable Recipes)
Put the finished Vegetable Recipes in a blender and gradually add the other ingredients – spices, onion and ground oat flour, which can be replaced by other healthy flours, the resulting mass is stiffer and easy to shape, if it is thinner, add more flour
With wet hands, shape into doughnuts or oblong sausages, which you can either put in the fridge, grill or roast (preparation over steam is necessary due to the presence of flour, which is better still cooked)
After grilling or baking, fill the baguettes with sausages and serve with Vegetable Recipes and other side dishes.
