Homemade strawberry liqueur

1 kg fresh strawberries 600 g crystal sugar 2 pcs vanilla sugar fine vodka as desired

This liqueur has a beautiful color, pleasant taste and delicious aroma.

Clean, wash and drain the strawberries.

Dump them into a large screw top bottle and sprinkle them with sugar.

Pour the vodka over them,

So that the strawberries are submerged.

Finally, add more vanilla sugar and cap the bottle. Set aside in a dark place, preferably a pantry, and let it infuse for at least 3 weeks. During those 3 weeks, I stir with a ladle at least every 3 days so that the sugar dissolves well (it can stand longer). Those who would like it sweeter can add sugar. Then strain into a bottle and refrigerate. The strawberries can be used in a variety of ways e.g. boiled, in jam or pudding etc.
