First, make the mayonnaise dressing – mix the mayonnaise with mustard, ground black pepper and salt

Then add the pre-cooked potatoes in their skins, hard-boiled eggs in a large bowl – push everything through the potato masher.

Add sour cucumbers cut into small cubes, drained canned peas and pre-cooked carrots cut into cubes.
4.
Pour the mayonnaise dressing and mix.
5.
Place the lettuce in the refrigerator overnight or for at least 8 hours to allow the flavors to meld.
6.
Serve on its own, with fish, with steak or any roasted meat.
