Excellent homemade pizza with tasty dough and garlic edges. The dough is supple yet tender. This batch makes 2 medium-sized pizzas.
1.
Weigh and combine both flours.
2.
In the lukewarm milk with sugar, grind the yeast and let it sour slightly.
3.
Add salt, olive oil and milk to the flour.
4.
Finally, pour the sourdough starter into the mixture.
5.
Knead the dough until it is a soft, smooth dough. It should pull away completely from the sides of the bowl. Put the dough in a warm place to rise.
6.
In the meantime, prepare the ingredients for the pizza topping.
7.
Grate the garlic cloves and mix with the olive oil.
8.
Split the dough in two and make a round pizza out of each. Either stretch or roll out the dough to make it thin. Then brush with oil and garlic.
9.
Place ketchup or red pesto on top of the oil and garlic and sprinkle with grated cheese.
10.
Add ingredients according to taste and preference.
11.
Sprinkle with another layer of cheese.
12.
And put the bake in a preheated oven at 220°C. It will be baked in about 12-15 minutes.
13.
Then just slice and serve. Enjoy!
