Homemade Parisian salad: Honest mayonnaise salad full of nostalgia

500 g soft sausage 1 pk larger onion 6 pk pickled cucumber 1 can sterilized peas (mild) 1 cup mayonnaise (400 ml) 1 tbsp full-fat mustard 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce a little pickle brine or vinegar to taste salt pinches of black pepper

No tub of Parisian salad can be big enough for us eaters. That’s why we’ve been making a tasty “Parisian” at home for several years now. Here’s how:
1.
Slice the lettuce into thin strips and place in a large bowl.
2.
Add finely chopped onion, diced cucumber, drained and rinsed peas.
3.
Then add mayonnaise, mustard and worcestershire to the bowl. Mix everything together.
4.
Finish the salad with cucumber brine (or vinegar), salt and a pinch of pepper, according to your preference. Mix well.
5.
Close the bowl or cover with foil and refrigerate the salad for at least 12 hours.
