This is our favourite way to make cabbage soup. 1. In a bowl I mix the batter with 1 egg,a little salt and flour. 2. Then I put the dough on a board 3. and make a smooth stiffer dough. 4. I then grate the dough on a coarse grater,by flouring the dough while grating,so that it grates well and easily. 5. I stir in the flour occasionally,so that it does not stick together. 6. When I go to boil them right away,I sift them through a sieve.I can also prepare a crust, 7. and when cooking it is necessary to boil them longer in salted water,because when they dry they are harder.when I cook them right away,I only need a couple of minutes.You always need to taste them.
