Extra thick and super tasty homemade ketchup.
1.
Slice the tomatoes, onion, garlic, washed apples with skin on /kernel cut out/, grate the beetroot on larger teardrops on a grater. Add the spices and cook together for 1 hour.
2.
Sparve, let cool. Place in clean smaller jars, close tightly with lids and sterilise at 100°C, 30 minutes.
3.
It is super thick and has a great taste.
4.
It can also be prepared as a sweet version without hot peppers and hot peppers.
5.
I cooked from 5 kg of tomatoes. This batch made 22 smaller, about 3 dcl jars. I tend to leave it to cool in the pot to sterilise.
