Homemade boiled caper spread

2 kg capsicum capsicum 6 cloves garlic 1 pk hot pepper 4 pk onion 4 pk tomato 1/2 dl oil 1/2 dl vinegar 1,5 tbsp full fat mustard to taste salt to taste sugar to taste citric acid

Spicy caper spread can be prepared according to this recipe at home. It is tasty and boiled is especially suitable for winter.

Wash the lime, remove the seeds and cut into small pieces. Add finely chopped garlic, onion, tomatoes and grind everything together with hot pepper in a meat grinder.

Place the minced mixture in a pot, add oil, vinegar, salt, mustard and sweeten to taste. Stir and cook until the mixture starts to boil. Cook, stirring constantly, for about 30 min. Add a pinch of citric acid before the end of cooking.

Pour the hot spread into smaller bottles, cap tightly, turn upside down for 5 minutes, then set lids up and wrap in a blanket to cool, preferably overnight. Enjoy!
