Try the traditional American BBQ sauce used extensively in America especially when grilling various meats.
Ingredients:
1/4 cup
of molasses (can be replaced with 2 tablespoons cane sugar)
1/4 cup
tomato puree
1/2 cup
apple cider vinegar
1/3 cup
worchester sauce
1/3 cup
maple syrup
1 package
tomato passata
2 tbsp
Dijon mustard
2 tbsp
oil
1/2 tsp
smoked ground red pepper
1/2 tsp
freshly ground black pepper
1/2 tsp
salt
5 pcs
of finely chopped garlic cloves
2 pcs
of bean leaves
1 pk
onions finely chopped
chillies to taste
Procedure:
In a suitable saucepan, heat oil, fry onion stirring constantly
Once onion turns golden brown, add garlic, let it brown slightly as well
.Add the other ingredients, turn down the heat source, and let bubble over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for about 20 minutes, until the sauce thickens
Use it preferably immediately, according to the appropriate recipes, or store it chilled in a sealed jar for up to 1 week in the refrigerator.
