Staročeská soup from eastern Bohemia. It was cooked by poor weavers. The soup has many variations, the base is mushrooms, eggs and potatoes, sometimes the soup is thickened with milk, sometimes with cream. Eggs were added to the soup boiled or just stirred into the soup.
Ingredients:
1 l
of water
0.5 l
milk
300 g
boiled potatoes
150 g
of fresh mushrooms (frozen)
smooth flour
bean leaf
new spices
whole pepper
parsley

vinegar
salt
Procedure:
Cook the eggs and potatoes separately.
Add the chopped mushrooms, bay leaf, allspice, whole pepper to 1 litre of water and boil until tender.
In the milk, stir the plain flour and pour into the soup.
Season the soup with vinegar, salt and soften with a teaspoon of butter.
Place the cooked potatoes on plates, pour the soup over them and add the boiled eggs, garnish with chopped parsley.
